Approximately 25 days of sailing, no land in sight.
APRIL 1, 2006 – NOVEMBER 1, 2006
Land Ho!! It will be serious competition - being the first to sight land.

TONGA – Brook will fly in to meet us August 1st
FIJI –Sierra and Brook fly home September 1st. Sierra will return to Huntington Beach in time to start 5th grade.
NOVEMBER 1, 2006 – APRIL 2007
Leave the South Pacific November 1 for Auckland, New Zealand where thanks to Scotty's dad, Roy Dickson, we will have a slip to wait out the cyclone season. We plan to spend December and January home. February and March we will cruise and tour New Zealand. We’ll head off towards Australia near the end of April, a layover of a couple of weeks in New Caledonia we think would be nice.
AUSTRALIA & INDONESIA
JUNE 2007 – SPETEMBER 2007
Sierra will join us again in Darwin, Australia by mid June. From here we sail direct to Timor making our way west through Indonesia. This is when Bob Land starts checking his email every 20 minutes - surf's up come to Indo! Brook will fly to Singapore middle of August to sail a bit and escort Sierra home. Sierra will be home in time for the first day of 6th grade.
Surfing is a BIG part the the thrill of this trip for Greg. Me, the wildlife. This will be my third trip to Australia - I want to see a wombat in the wild. I was able to pet a baby in captivity, thanks to Billy and Joey Rawson. Seeing an animal in the wild is, well a bit of a mission. In Kalimantan I've heard it's possible to trek into the jungle to see the ograng utans, those faces!
There are many great surf spots in this part of the world. So again we will wander between anchorages until December. Christmas 2007 will be spent home in Huntington Beach. Greetings will hang in Phuket for a couple months for some RR.
FEBRUARY - May
Greetings plans to cruise Sri Lanka and the Maldives on her way across the Indian Ocean towards Africa. Don't you think it would be wonderful to ride an elephant through the jungle? Sri Lanka could be the place to do it. May will find us cruising the Chagos and Seychelles. From the Syechelles we head to Tanzania, Africa to pick up the Squid/Sierra.
JUNE - DECEMBER 2008
While in Tanzania with Sierra we hope to go on safari on the Serengeti. That should sedate my wildlife craving for a while.
Zanzibar, the Comoros and Madagascar are also on the agenda for our summer with Sierra before she heads back to Huntington Beach to start Jr. High, 7th grade. By this time she’ll have much to share with her classmates.
The itinerary gets vague as the time stretches out. We’ll be hanging out in South Africa for awhile, waiting for a good time to round the Cape of Good Hope - another big item off the list for life - this will be around mid December/ January.
CARRIBEAN CHRISTMAS 2008
Sierra and Brook will fly into Cartagena, Colombia or Panama or anywhere I think is safe at the time. The transit of the Panama Canal has been high on my List of Life for a long time. It is fitting it comes near the end of our voyage. I hear they have monkeys in Panama!
CENTRAL AMERICA & MEXICO
MAY – until we get home...
This leg is all up hill. Surf spots and weather conditions are completely in charge.
CATALINA ISLAND , CALIFORNIA
I think she will anchor for awhile. Then she could ease on to a mooring. Perhaps even spend a few nights in Cherry Cove, before GREETINGS brings us home.
